Oatmeal! By now you must have noticed that this is a staple food here at the Your Superfoods Office 😀 We just can’t get enough! And we love to play around with different flavour combinations, from chocolate to matcha… there’s a recipe for everybody’s liking. Today we want to share this delicious and easy Carrot Cake Porridge recipe, which is just perfect for fall! Comforting, warm and with a lot of delicious spices. Our Muscle Power Mix adds a good amount of protein to keep you full longer and provide your body with all the essential amino acids. Try it – it really is fingerlickin’ good (for you)!
CARROT CAKE PROTEIN PORRIDGE
INGREDIENTS:
- 15g Muscle Power Mix
- 1 cup of oats
- 1 large carrot (grated)
- 100ml coconut milk
- 150ml water
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons raisins
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla powder
TOPPINGS:
- Granola, mulberries, coconut chips, cashew butter (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
- Combine all of the ingredients except for the Muscle Power Mix in a small pot and cook on medium heat.
- Keep stirring, so nothing burns or sticks to the bottom of the pan.
- Take off the heat and add the Muscle Power Mix.
- Pour into a bowl.
- Add toppings of choice.
- Enjoy!
💚 SUPER TIP: Use more or less liquids depending on how thick or runny you like your porridge!
